The great city of Chicago as seen from the near south side. We rented this condo on Prairie Avenue for our last two years in Chicago leading up to our retirement. We are thankful for and know we were fortunate to be able to wake up to this view daily. Speaking of Daly, Mayor Daly lived in the second group of red brick low rise buildings on the left. Buckingham fountain can be seen in a full size print spouting off as it does every hour in the summer. This is a compilation of several images stitched together so this photo can be made quite large while maintaining great clarity and detail.
