Traveling the back roads, near Roy, New Mexico, we came upon this rural scene. Once it was certainly a bustling farm or ranch with proud, hard working owners. Now, in stark contrast, it stands idle and in disrepair. No doubt these past owners would have been happy to receive such abundant rain as New Mexico received this past year. Possibly it was a drought which sent these past owners packing.
