EA08 Doesn't Staring at the Sun Hurt our Eyes
Easter Island is part of Chile.  It was named Easter Island as it was first discovered on Easter 1722.  This volcanic island  is one of the most remote in the world. Its native name is Rapa Nui. Tourists and cruise ships visit for the many moai oversized stone carvings of heads.  This particulat part of the island was the quarry for the heads, called Rano Raraku.
