UT120 Bentonite Boulders
These bentonite hills can be found on the back roads of Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. Getting here generally requires a four wheel drive as one begins this 50 mile journey by crossing a section of the Fremont River. While geologists can tell you where these out of place black boulders come from, I'm just happy to find three in a dry, mud cracked creek bed.
