Hi14 Palm Grove
This grove of trees are accessed by a very rough dirt road, with gates that lock at about sunset. This makes getting out in time a very iffy situation in the summer when taking sunset photos. Most people that get this far are in a hurry to get to their destination beach, Puu Alii Bay, one of the most turquoise beaches around. The old concession stands have long since fallen into disrepair and are now boarded up with do not enter signs. It is still a very beautiful spot, away from the crowds. On this late day visit, I saw as many wild goats as tourists.
