Along the East Entrance to Zion National Park if you keep your eyes open, maybe you can be the first to spot a Desert Big Horn Sheep. Otherwise, just look for the traffic jam of tourists pointing at the sight. For the best photographic opportunities, do not try to chase the sheep as you will never catch up to them. Instead, try to gauge their direction of travel, go well ahead of them and sit and wait....and wait....and wait.... Maybe your guessed wrong or they are just being slow. Jumping well ahead of them is what I did this particular evening and soon they were walking all around me. Very watchful and aware of the gray haired guy trying to remain quiet and still as possible.
